Read Rod's blogRod is the president and owner of America’s Mortgage Store based in Scottsdale, Arizona. Rod established America’s Mortgage Store in 1997 after spending seven years with State Savings Bank, two with Norwest and two with Bank One. Rod has established an extensive database of clients who continue to seek his advice regarding the mortgage industry and their real estate investments. His experience provides him the skills necessary to help his customers make informed decisions over time, thus creating lasting relationships and often friendships. Rod also has direct experience in real estate investing. In addition to his own home, he and his wife own multiple residential rental properties, a custom home lot, and the commercial building in which America's Mortgage Store is located. Rod is on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix and acts on many of the committees for the organization. He is also a founding member of Trailblazers, a Scottsdale-based management discussion group. Rod and his wife Lynette celebrate more than twenty years of marriage. They are currently raising their teenage son Braydon who attends Desert Mountain High School, while their daughter Kailee continues her education at the University of Arizona. In 2008, Rod and Lynette will become empty-nesters. Rod is a member of Ancala Country Club and is continually perfecting his golf game.
